A Labyrinth at the
Spring Equinox
Workshop with Priestess of Avalon Vicki Brierley
As the sun moves into Aries and the
day and night become equal, come and find your point of balance as we
walk the sacred seven fold labyrinth.
This will be an all day workshop where Vicki will help us to create and
use a labyrinth. Vicki has come to the university to facilitate
workshops for us twice now and everyone who's ever attended comes away
commenting on how much they got from the experience.
Her workshops usually follow the format of setting up sacred space,
focusing on what we want from the day, working with a focus (in this
case creating and using the labyrinth) a craft activity creating altar
pieces to take home with us before a guided visualisation.
With her help we usually create a small ritual which we perform at the
end of the day before closing and taking down of sacred space.
Open to all. Please bring a packed lunch and contact us for more
details. The colours of the seasons are bright spring greens and
delicious golds.

The Oakenwood Society
Weekend Courses on Herb Lore
Oakenwood Society is a voluntary group of people
that enjoy learning and teaching on the subject of herbs.
In 2010 we will again be running a series of weekend courses, hosted on
a farm set between Bristol and Cardiff, where you can relax, unwind, and
learn some of the secrets that herbs contain. Learn how to grow and
prepare herbs, discover how they may be used, make herbal skin products,
ointments and creams, and much more.
We are easy-going, into the “hands on approach” of doing things, and not
paid for what we do!
For those who may be interested, there is also the opportunity for
getting involved in the group itself.
The Oakenwoods website offers
extensive information on herbs, more details on the courses and an
online forum, or E-mail us.

Berkshire's Pagan Community
We are a friendly, informal and inclusive group of people and warmly welcome
all those with a sincere interest in Paganism in Berkshire. Pagan Berkshire
aims to bring together all Pagans in Berkshire regardless of spiritual path
or persuasion, whether you practise alone or meet with others. Non Pagans
who want to chat to us and find out more are equally welcome.
Pagan Berkshire is an open group, we do not have members or an inner circle,
we are simply Pagan people from Berkshire and the surrounding areas who
would like to meet and get to know other local Pagans both on-line and face
to face.
We arrange meet-ups in the Newbury / Thatcham and Reading areas. We
have chosen to break with tradition and not have formal moots at a set time
and venue each month as these have had limited success in Berkshire. Instead
all events are organised amongst our on-line community on Yahoo at:
